Take off to something new

I am currently onboard flight 1246 from OAK to SLC.
I spent four short days back home.
It was great.
I got to clear my head, get refocused, and now am heading back to try and push through the last two weeks of school and finals.

There was something about this trip that I needed.
Maybe seeing my family helped me put things into perspective.
They always seem to know what to say to make everything feel ok.
Seeing my friends, too, helped a lot.
I'm really glad I was able to spend Thanksgiving with my family.

I think, in a sense, I've finally let go.
Something I thought was not possible a month ago.
But I'm ok.

I've been thinking...
When I started this blog it was titled "the start of something new" to record my new journey to Utah.
And though I blogged a bit about my adjustments to living on my own in an unfamiliar state, it really just served as an update to my life.
But truly, everyday is the start of something new.
This whole journey is new to me now, It is the start of something new and amazing.

This flight back home is the start of something new.
A new fresh start and I'm really looking forward to it.

Today, I am SO thankful for my amazing family that supports me unconditionally.
I am really lucky.

Turbulence just started.
Barf.
