Quick weekend trip

One more week of school which includes two ridiculously hard finals.
Bring. It. On.

Thomas and I made an abrupt decision and ventured off to Moab Saturday night for literally less then 24 hours. We had a blast!
It was my first time to Moab and my first time Camping!
We slept in his jeep which was rather uncomfortable, but totally the "camping" experience
We hike to Delicate Arch which was so gorgeous!
We soaked up some sun.
Watched the car show.
We drove home.
Such a quick trip, but wort every second!

Now it's back to reality...two more finals to take and then it's Summer!
I can hardly wait!!!

quick update

I had three days off this week.

I didn't sleep in.

I shadowed my RN friend around the PICU for 12 hours (7pm-7am).

I went home and slept from 8:30am-1pm...It felt so good!

It was an incredible experience! I loved every minute of it...maybe I will pursue nursing! Who knows!

I also got my car fixed...no more cracked windshield and no more damaged mirror!

Now my car is not so ghetto anymore!

Fabulous!

That math test I complained about two posts back...I got a 64/70! Wahoo!

A lot better than a fat ZERO I would have gotten, had I given up!

If only I can Ace the Final...then I'll be in good shape!

Just a wish...that won't come true!

School ends in two weeks and I can hardly wait!

Only one more Art class...and it's only to hand in our portfolios...(which I totally need to work on this week!)

This is going to be fun!!

Summer is in the Air!

Life is good!

I completed the (below post) math test friday night at midnight.

What a relief it was to hand that sucker in.

I have three days off work next week.

I have two more weeks of School left, then a week of finals.

The Summer Sun is finally starting to shine down over Utah, about time!

I am starting my CNA course in exactly a month...I even bought scrubs today because I am that excited. (btw- scrubs are so dang comfy! I wish it was normal to wear them everyday!)

I am getting my car repaired next week...as in dropping a ton of $ on my poor damaged car....

I am shadowing my friend, Cecily who is an RN, in the PICU of Primary Children's Hospital on Monday. It should be a wonderful experience!

I am throwing two bridal showers, one tonight and one next saturday, party on!

Thomas has gotten off work this whole week before 11pm...it's been a real treat!

Thomas and I are going to indulge in Sushi tomorrow night. Yum!

I'm going to Chicago in exactly two months! It'll be the first family trip my family has been on in...I can't even remember the last trip we were all together! I am way exctied to see my brother graduate and explore Chicago!

My other brother, Andrew, just passed the ASVAB test for the Air Force and Chicago may be the last time I'll see him until after basic training! I am so proud of him for reaching his goals and fighting for his dream!

Lukas has had a major poopy bum all week.

It's been awful and yucky and miserable for him.

Poor kid. (not fun for the person changing the diapers either, let me tell ya!)

I got the dress for the wedding I'm going to be in!

It's cute, brown, and not too fancy so I can wear it elsewhere!

As much as I complained about having to take my drawing course, it's been a really fun and easy class. Sadly, I'm actually going to miss that class once it's over. I still can't draw, but I did learn a lot! The teacher even acknowledge the fun and joy I bring into the classroom...that's a first.

Urgh.

I am SO ready for the semester to be over.

It seems that teachers enjoy throwing piles of work at you the last few weeks of class, to test your breaking point.

I think I've hit mine.

It appears (after I've completed the assignment) I took the wrong Math papers, that are due tomorrow at 8am...I had no clue I didn't have the correct papers until last night when discussing the problems with a classmate. Opps.

After getting the correct assignment e-mailed to me by the teacher today at 10am, I now have only tonight to do six hours of math, when I get off work,...on a Friday night.

To top the weekend off, I have math class tomorrow at 8am...I can think of much better ways I'd rather be spending my Saturday...like sleeping in!

Ontop of this mess, my week has been filled with changing poopy diapers, tons of Bio reading, Blizzards, no sleep, and a really exhausted-in-everyway state of mind.

I have 90 questions of Bio that need to get done this weekend too.

When will it end?!

I'm also busy planning two wedding showers.

Yes, TWO...I am crazy. It's a fact.

One is a food shower for my dear from Sara.

Basically instead of gifts, people are supposed to bring food that'll help feed the newly married poor college couple. The shower is next friday...any ideas on what fun games we can play!?

Also, my friend Codi is getting married in June and I'm throwing her a shower, (as one of her bridesmaids) on April 24th. Again, any fun ideas would be every so sweet!

If you didn't catch it, I'll be in Codi's wedding, exciting!

We're going dress shopping tomorrow afternoon...wahoo!

Thomas is off in Moab for the weekend.

Poor guy worked all week long, until the wee hours of the mornings almost every night.

He deserves this break, and he's doing one of his favorite things...getting his jeep dirty!

I sure do miss him!
